OIL ON GRAIN / Over-painted photographs

The works in the exhibition are the result of a collaboration in 2018-19 between Johanna Kraft (photographer, born 1983 in Germany) and Tihomira Dinina (painter, born 1980 in Bulgaria). Exploring the concept of combining and contrasting different media both artists work with layers of colour on the photographic canvas. Some more abstract, some more realistic, sometimes spontaneous and sometimes deliberate. But all driven by intuition.

Inspired by the Swedish nature, the selected series of artworks consists of landscapes and portraits.
